Oh hell, yes. Your 93's not vented. There's a vent kit available but that's more $$$. The MSD is vented. The GM part is like the origional, paper gasket, etc. The MSD has an o-ring seal. The MSD is just a better part, I put one in my 92 10k miles ago, works fine.
