Subject: Re: Guess it's time to replace the clutch slave cylinder... by CentralCoaster on 2009/12/11 21:42:24 If there's enough room in your engine compartment to thread the slave cylinder up through and next to the master, all the while still bolted up to the clutch hose... then do that. I did this and was able to bleed my clutch system by hand right there in front of me, and then install it. I left the master bolted to the car (because you don't want to tip it) and just used the pedal. I bled the system both directions until I was sure all the air was out. A phoenix tool sound good too, although I've never used one. |
