Subject: Re: Ramble on by corvetteronw on 2010/1/24 1:53:56 I bought a membership to www.corvettetroubleshooting.com and openly posted my admiration of Gordon along with Jason and Tobey of www.vette2vette.com I have no stake in their business and have received no freebies or payment from them. I have purchased items from them twice in the last few months and paid full price. Maybe the thread was posted when I was in Vegas the week after Christmas and I didn't see it. I and many others think Gordon is a giant in the hobby. Hell, he was just admitted to the National Corvette Museum Hall of fame. He has done work on my previous C4s and given me advice for free. He is a legend and will be sorely missed when he passes from this earth some day. If someone thinks I am profiting from my friendship with them they are sorely wrong. I have also attended classes by Chris Petris and he too has worked on one of my C4s for free. I have also praised his expertise and no one got their panties in a bunch about that. No moderator of any of the Forums I belong to has ever said anything to me in a negative fashion other than my recent week-long ban and a warning from Mr Mojo about posting a link to a naughty web site several years ago. |
