In a discussion I've been having offline with Aboatguy I went back to find these videos that Hardbar made when they first released this product last summer. They'll clearly show some of the benefits of this product.

This video shows how a shock with a stock C6 rubber bushing on top and bottom reacts.

This video shows how adding only the top half of the mount cuts down on the "jumping" the shock does.
