Get the caliber paint kit at Advanced Auto. It is amazing! My total prep time was about 5 minutes per caliber with their kit and no adhesion problems. No problems at all in fact. I used the brush on paint with two coats per wheel.
Very easy job and you will have enough left over to do a second car if you want.
