Hmmm...

It's not the bottom of a C4 that needs the help. I had a much beefier brace on my car when I first bought it, it was a box section and welded to the front and rear subframe (see below). It sill shimmied and shook with the top off. Nothing short of a 6-pt is going to really fix this, and obviously that's not going to happen on a street car.

You're better off with one of these braces that goes in place of the roof IMO. I think RD makes them?
