The after market TB, however, was meant to be used with the GM TPS, and it fit quite well. The minor adjustment of the cable was due to slight differences in the linkage.


Wasn't referring to your TB install, but the many other people who have had to adjust the TPS when using an aftermarket TB. No hammer required, but a drill is. It's a well-documented mod on LT1 engine forums.
