Turns out it was warped or had a hump right at the PCV connection on the flange that goes against the head. I can send it back or true it up. I haven't decided yet.

I would have Edlebrock send you a new one. Quality Control and customer service.

I might but I have read a lot about the quality of their castings since I got the one I have. Another one may be as a bad or something different wrong with it and I did was waste some time waiting on it.I feel I can get it pretty true. At least enough where some RTV will make up the difference.
