You can check ebay for a used one, or get a reprinted one at helms.com. Seems pricey at first but once you've used it you'll realize you can't do without it! Hawks are good pads, I personally have a C5 brake upgrade. Best thing I ever did for my car. Figure $400-500 to go that route. As far as the a/c, most likely low freon. You can jumper the low pressure switch to see if the compressor comes on. If you find that it works and you have low freon, then you have to track down the leak otherwise you will be wasting your money on converting and refilling it. If there is no physical damage to the a/c components, a common issue is a leaking schrader valve. Matthew |
