As far as i know, a 2.59:1 will be slightly stronger than anything numerically higher,(not much though if any) but youre going to be pushing it with that in my opinion, it might last for a long time if you dont put sticky tires on it and go drag racing, but then it may not!! If it was me, id get a DANA 44 and throw in there before the DANA 36 fails, that way you have a spare you can either sell, or keep for if you ever want to sell the car. (then put the 36 back in it and keep the 44 for your next one!!)  |
