This is really an easy job. You will need a 10mm wrench to remove the bolts that hold the EGR onto the intake. It's a tight fit, but the wrench is the best bet. I found that a gear drive wrench is even better (ratchet wrench).

You remove the 2 bolts and the EGR kinda just falls off. There is a vacuum line that needs to be disconnected. You can reuse the EGR gasket.
