Adjustment with RR's is critical, especially with COMP CAMS lifters. But, what kind of lock down nut do these have? Are they like factory, or a jam nut.
Also, what camshaft are you running? Sometimes the springs with rollers cause ticking. Mine ticks all the time, with Beehive 918s, 555 lift cam, fast ramps and Crower SS 1.6 Enduro II roller rockers. Mine is 1/4 turn past zero lash, cold with GM lifters.
