As far as the idle, did you do the base idle / TPS reset procedure? If so, you might need to bump it up 50-100 rpm at the base with the bigger cam.

I'm not sure what the tps reset procedure is. Do I just check the voltage across the pins or is there something else I need to do?

Where did you get your boots?

I checked the timing again today it's right on 6 btdc.
