Subject: K & N Filters by Frank on 2011/11/10 23:36:32 Would like everybody's take on K&N Filters. I had one in my 1997 GMC Sierra and it didn't turn out so well. The treatment fluid got on the map sensor and turned my engine into an effective anchor. $3200 mistake. I was told this couldn't happen but I lived it and saw it happen. Overtreatment? Possibly although I followed the directions pretty closely. Thanks in advance. With all that said "Whats your take"? |
