Subject: Re: K & N Filters by Vetron87 on 2011/11/12 2:54:17 Used K&N for a few years in my Chevy Construction Trucks. Over oiling was not an issue because of throttle body injection. Oil would be ingested and burned. In 2004 had issues with the K&N after one month in the 87 vette. Oil film coated the MAF and created idling and surging problems. Replaced K&N with a stock AC filter. I must admit the trucks with the K&N did get better mileage, exception was the 1 ton when I plowed snow, nothing helps in that situation. |
