Subject: High RPM Oil Pressure Drop, Round IV by Andrew on 2012/3/4 21:07:47 WOOOHOOO! The new Canton oil pan is installed and no more oil pressure drop!! At WOT, right off idle, pressure is 60 and creeps up to 75 at redline. One question, where is "full" with a Canton 7 qt race pan? The only problem was reinstalling the starter. With the new pan, I couldn't get the starter in, so I had to work it over the header collectors, after removing the O2 censor. Everything else is bolt on, if you take your time. Thanks everyone for the advice. Now I'm ready for summer! |
