The hatch is rather easy.

First and foremost, let the new seal flex out (this applies to all seals, really). Open it up, let it sit on the driveway in the sun for a while to soften and stretch.

Lift open, using a 2x4, prop up, remove the pneumatic struts.

remove all the screws that hold the parameter trim in place, including the halo. Let it all drop free.

Remove the old seal. LEAVE THE WHITE GOO BEHIND!

Now, you will have to set the new seal in place, so the glass hatch will need to be supported by hand to get the seal into position.

After in place, put the 2x4 back in to hold the glass, then starting at one of the corners, start whacking it in with a rubber mallet.

Reverse assembly to put the trim back in to place. The hatch will force the final fit, and will take a couple of days to fully stretch out.

Sounds easy but I heard it can be a pain in the but sometimes. Will take my time.
