PB won't do much.

Absolute must - use line wrenches not standard wrenches.

A little heat on the connection won't hurt anything.

When loosening the line to frame tube connection the position of the wrenches must be where you can squeeze the 2 wrenches together with 2 hands, this will help prevent rounding off the fitting heads.
