Checked fuel pressure, and there was none. The needle did not budge. Also, when turning the key, I could hear a click from the tank, but not the usual buzz that follows. So my guess is this means the pump electricals are working just not the pump?
Does GM still make pumps for these things? Autozone has an Airtex pump for about $85 w/ strainer. Or is there a specific brand you guys like for under $200. I'm going to be moving and between incurring those expenses and having to have this done w/in a couple of weeks I'd like to stay on budget.
Intallation looks pretty straight forward.
Go to Racetronix.com and get their Walbro pump setup, it's the best and reasonabley priced. A bunch of guys here have them.
But first make sure the fuel pump relay is working (it may be the click you are hearing).
