Subject: Re: Gas Pedal Mount by CentralCoaster on 2012/11/14 7:45:02 I think I need a new pedal assembly. I'm gonna get a new stock one though. When I did this mod last time I had to drill the stock rivet out of the pedal arm, and put the round peg in the square hole to convert to the cnc bracket. And just as I predicted, the metal cotter pin from the kit has worn out that square edge of the pedal arm over the years and now has a ton of slop. If you have a better idea on how to to keep slop out of the entire assembly, I'm all ears. I should mention I ditched the cnc bracket right away because it was about 3/4 off from the stock bracket, but still was forced to use the cotter pin from it. It looks like you have that fitment figured out if you are selling different brackets. If I get around to replacing it I'll take a pic of my stock pedal that used to be fine before this whole experiment. I'm probably more likely to break it now than ever. The irony. Ok now I'm just bitching and rambling. |
