Then you need a cable that will connect your car to the computer... and then software... TunerCat is the one to get. This will then "log" readings from the computer in real time. From there, you can see when a sensor drops out, or something fails, or a spike that shouldn't be. The data cab be viewed inside the program, or, in a spread sheet. Take a look at the attachment, it's an Excel 2003 format spreadsheet of the data elements taken from my 92 Vette. Consider it to be an electronic EKG for your car. |
