Get a LONG flat tip screwdriver and a fiber or rubber hammer.

Put the VC on the bench, the screwdriver goes between your thumb and pointer finger while you hold the VC. Put the screwdriver right on the top of the drip tab.

Wack it with the fiber hammer (fiber works better as it doesn't bounce)

The tab would snap off, grind anything that's left.

You can knock all of them off in just about 2 minutes.
