Re: Battery draining

Subject: Re: Battery draining

I had a simular problem and it turned out to be a headlight motor. I leave the car parked for several days or weeks between use. When I would try to start it I would find the battery to low to start it. One day after my short driving session I heard it pulse to the closed position a couple of times after I parked the car. I unhooked the motor and found the battery stayed up. Changed motor no problem since.

I have also seen posts that say it is impossable to happen that way.

Another thing is it would eat motor gears, Probably because it dit not want to shut off. Tried cleaning the switches but it did not help.
