Has anyone replaced their door pins and bushings?

My driver side door is sagging a bit... and I would like to unsag it... so to speak.

Next step is to check the FSM, but I was looking for some real world experience with this. Is there a special tool? Will the springs kill me?

Oh, and are the pins the standard GM pin/bushing pair?

Thanks!

Haven't done the C4 but just did the C2.

9 times out of 10, there's nothing wrong with the pins
The 67's showed zero wear when mic'ed.

The kit with pins and bushings run $11/door or you can get just the bushings (Summit, Amazon).

I bought 2 universal kits, 12 pcs. for the 67.

I pressed the bushings in with a vice without using anything but the jaws (hinges were off the door of course).

Pins come out fairly easy.

If you have the GM part number, check the Dorman brand, probably much cheaper.

Corvette Central makes the tool but I'd consider just bending an old screw driver.

Make sure you put a jack under the middle of the door and it's much easier if you have a helper, they are damn heavy.
