The stock rear Y pipes are different—both 1984 and 1985 Y pipes are one-year only parts (things only stabilized in 1986). Most of the Y-pipe reproductions for the 1985 are awful; you have my best wishes that they are better for your 1984.

1984 exhaust tips also angle down while 1985 though 1990 head (relatively) straight back.
