Do I Have an oil Leak !!!!! by CentralCoaster on 2008/4/2 20:35:08 Someone told me one of those holes by the lower part of the timing cover on the block go into the oil passage, but I wasn't able to find anything of the sort. This was when my truck was leaking, but it turned out to be a seal in the mechanical fuel pump that was letting oil in and it was coming out the vent hole above the fuel pump diaphram. But nothing in there is under any pressure, the oil was just sort of spilling out and then getting blown everywhere by the fan. Dumped about 1 qt in 100 miles. |
