Subject: Chasing a noise new hubs, poss u-joints! by movnviolation on 2008/4/25 23:04:11 Removed everything down to the hubs. Going to put new delco hubs and brakes on the rear. They are sitting on the work bench. Chasing a ticing noise that only I can hear. Sounds like a u-joint. I can move the hub in back and forth motion as some have suggested to do, and there is a little slack and I can hear a slight clunk. Should there be any slack or noise at all? If it is u-joint noise, I had new half shafts and drive shaft built not to long ago by a driveline shop who has moved on! Again thanks! |
