2 hours later......

Subject: 2 hours later......
by NC Kid on 2008/6/30 17:42:20

It took me two hours to get the A.I.R. pump gutted and the piping removed. No more rattling. Can't tell much difference with the pipes removed though. Anyway, The filter on the front was flaking off and toasted. My pully is slightly warped from the heat but it still operates fine. Returned the eliminator pully.

I took out the insides and lubricated the whole thing, removed the filter behind the pully and lock tited all the bolts. Also cleaned it up. I thought about painting it black but decided against it.

It was my birthday tuesday so I got some HID Foglights from Vleds. I got the blue tinted ones. I believe they are 6000K. Anyway, I knoew the solid whites are brighter but these are still way above the stock lights so it is already an improvment. When they come in, I will see how much it will cost to get the taillights and those installed. The taillights are going to be a real bitch to get to though for the installer. I am probably going to do the headlights later down the road with the interchangable bulb housings. The kit from BPP is way to expensive and I don't care for the looks either.

Thats about it for me....Seems I haven't missed much here.

The only thing I need to ask is this. My antenna motor will not stop running and the antenna will not go down. Any ideas and a price range? I am about to go out and work on it. Appreciate any help that can be given.
