Subject: Concerned... by runner140 on 2008/8/11 13:43:20 Last week while driving to the beach for a run, as I was parking, the P/S went,as in couldn't steer. Popped the hood and there was a thin, dark oil everywhere. Ran and drove home and all was fine. With new shop rags, cleaned up all the oil(not really that much). All clean, I looked for the source. Couldn't find it. Process of elimination. Still couldn't find it so I drove it to work the next day. No codes, no oil missing, AND no more leaks. I have since driven over 300 miles with no problems or answers. Vettes don't fix themselves. btw its a 1996. Still concerned when the ghost will return, your comments are welcome and appreciated. I'm on the west coast for the week. |
