Bad ignition modules and coils can test fine at room temperature though unfortunately, which makes diagnosis difficult. I had a car with this condition, I let it sit with a timing light hooked up and noticed it cut out shortly before the engine would die. I'm curious how they came to blame two injectors and the ECM. I see countless shops replace the ECM just because they can't pull a monkey code from it to tell them what to bill you for. What does the shop have to say for themselves for wasting a couple hundred bucks of yours on their misdiagnosis? If they were medical doctors, by now you'd have a colostomy bag and a replacement hip to treat your ear infection. |
