Can't tell ya' about plugs right or wrong. I did mine 2 months ago, and thought I had stripped one. Got a REAL sick feelin' in my gut too. I had them barely in more than finger tight - I couldn't see how I had done it.

Couple of weeks later, I pulled one side plugs to pull the exhaust manifold. All 4 that side were loose. Didn't care a bit, instead of having a stripped plug bore in the aluminum head.

Use care, even starting them...
