Mine comes out the side fine without touching C beam.
Disconnect uni caps , slide shaft foward to clear yoke; requires wheels off ground so you can rotate diff yoke to free uni's.
Slide out and backover handbrake cable until front yoke free.
Slide foward and down to drop
