I agree with the above statement, but starting at 20 psi at 1000RPM, which leads to 70 psi at 6000 RPM. 10W30 or straight 30W in my cars (but typically use Castrol brand).

I run a very nice all metal filter that has a billet shell and flange and allows you to inspect what is actually being captured. It lets you know in advance when something is going away.
