What is wrong?

You need to get the resistance off the existing key. When you order the new cylinder, it will come with a key and you more than likely have to tell them the resistance.

Either that, or you get a key that fits and then have to make a copy on a blank with the right resistance.

Replacing is easy, really.

Remove the wheel, the airbag clockspring/switch thingy, the lock ring and a screw, the cylinder pops out.

I really need to do that...

The key switch is all worn out... my dome lights stay on too long and the chimes don't always chime.
