Subject: Re: mufflers by bogus on 2009/1/30 3:03:11 I have corsa's, too... love'm... The thing with the Corsa is that after about 2300 RPM, they do get a bit noisy. The key to them is not just the muffler, but the resonator, too. Add in the cats... they do a TON to kill noise, the rest of the exhausts job is to kill the resonance. The C4 cabin is a resonance chamber... the rear storage area just adds insult to injury. The L98 is less boomy because of the center cat... but the LT1 just booms. I had elims on at one point, and they were gnarly. Hated the boom. The Corsas are one of the BEST components I have put on my Vette. I recommend them to anyone. |
