Why don't you want it in the dash vent? I only had to drill two small holes in the side of the vent plastic a few inches back, one for the wire, 2nd for the mounting screw.


Wouldn't it push up against the vent? More importantly, what about moisture? Wouldn't it be prone to condensation from the A.C. or the heat from running the heater in the winter? Saw that in CFs threads as well.
