Subject: Re: Rear end walks slightly under accelleration? by CFI-EFI on 2009/3/21 16:41:29 I had a problem I referred to as rear wheel steer. If I got on the gas it steered to the right. When I backed off it steered to the left. In my case the problem turned out to be a worn out inner tie rod end. Actually it is the link that holds the inner end of both rear tie rods. It bolts to the batwing. The link was still pretty stiff which made it hard to detect with the rear in the air, but once enough force was applied the movement was really evident. I hope that helps.
