Electrical peeps....step in

Subject: Electrical peeps....step in
by NC Kid on 2009/3/21 17:38:36

Got the shift light mounted....grounded..powered...Turn car on, it wont STOP blinking. I have tried every setting. Checked all wires. It's annoying. It blinks non stop. At first only three leds would light up. Hell, the car is in PARK and it keeps blinking. I pushed a button up on the settings and then all 7 come on. Im tired of messing with it. I know how to set the RPMs. I just want the damn thing to stop blinking and work when it shifts. The best part is, the car has not even left the driveway yet....If I can't fix it, it's gone!

On the other hand, my stupid A/F ratio turns no and off fine BUT it wont move. It says the cars running rich constantly which it's not. I have a open circuit or a short somewhere. ideas? Power source is thru the stereo. I tried to ignition but the stupid gauge would never turn off. Now it turns off, it just wont give me the correct readings. Don't even get me started on the Fuel Pressure gauge....Ill save that for another time......

Please help with two issues.
