He is trying to get the u-joint out of the Half Shaft yoke.

Anyway OP, just get anything larger in Diameter to put under the lower part of the yoke.

Then get a Socket or something shaped like that you don't care to own anymore......place it on the u-joint cap and hit it with a hammer.......hard.....

It is aluminum the cap will move easily within.

This was just about the easiest u-joint I ever removed in 30 years of shade treeing.....
