Subject: Re: E85 by Stl94LT1 on 2009/6/21 1:11:35 I work for GM in one of their truck plants. The E85 vehicles do use the same ECM, but the programming is different. The E85 vehicles have a fuel tank sensor that tests the density of the fuel and can switch the programming to use E85. The E85 trucks also get a diffenent engine code, not sure of the changes. As far as I know the rest of the fuel system is the same as the regular gas jobs. |
