You have a camber brace? If so, you'll want to remove that for the water pump R&R or your life will be miserable. It makes the belt removal a challenge - I bought one of those long serpentine belt tools and bent it "just so", and use a crow's foot head on it.

You should think about replacing hoses as long as you've got the system drained, if there's any question about their age or condition.

It's the vacuum hose for the opti that is in your way for that W/P bolt. There's a clip that holds it to the accessory bracket. You should be able to snake in there with a wobble extension. It might help to unbolt the power steering pump - you'll want to do that to run new plug wires anyway.

I only take out the center section of the driver's side wheel well to do plugs, but I have headers now, so it's a bit easier. I've had that thing off so many times I should've just velcro'd it back on.

When I did my water pump, I removed the coil and the belt tensioner - gave me a little more elbow room. Cleaning the gasket material off the block is a joy, so any little bit of room you can make is welcome.
