The problem with the 700r4 is the gear ratio is too short for the 1st & 2nd gears IMHO. I did a lot of playing around with the weights and springs until I found something that worked with my setup. At partial throttle, I still shift out of 1st at around 8 or 9 mph and out of 2nd at around 16 or 17. WOT bumps it up a bit, I don't remember exactly since I haven't driven it in a while. If I want to hold the gear, I have the transgo 2+3 shift kit which acts like a manual valve body and I shift manually. Matthew |
