yea, but that is part of the "take the knuckle off" step.

Also, there has been an update. The big bolt is recommended to be torqued at 200 ft/lb.

You will need to get 2 T55 torx sockets... I recommend 2 because the bolts that retain the bearing are a bitch and might break the sockets. With torx sockets you MUST be square on them.

I did mine on the car. It wasn't bad, but I can see the advantage of doing it on a bench.

I would also recommend a few other fixes:

1. rear ujoints
2. rear spring bolts. depending on mileage, these could be in really bad shape.
3. shocks
