I used a headlight module from a late 80's Firebird in my former '85 (which had a complete '91 wiring harness). It worked fine. My understanding from a lot of research I did when I swapped dash/harnesses in my former '85 is that the Firebird and Fiero use the same module so, a Fiero module should work in the Corvette.

The only issue if you are getting the module from the salvage yard is access to one from a Fiero - IIRC it's in the wheel well, and you have to remove the front fender liner to get at it. Not the easiest task when you're working in the yard.

The Firebird module was right on the firewall and very easy to remove.
