Subject: Re: issue by smooth on 2010/1/30 1:03:25 With all due respect Josh...what color is the smoke, white?...maybe when you torqued and snapped the thermostat housing, a hairline crack in the block opened up front. That would get coolant into the valley and drain right into the pan right?. I know that is completely "out there" but is there coolant in the oil? Or, maybe theres a crack in one of edges of the head gaskets that was sealed by the old intake gasket, but not the new one just because the old one has never been disturbed. it just seems strange that it just started after the gaskets were manipulated......wonder if there's coolant in the valley under the intake.....just some guesses from the rookie!
