Subject: Re: Fuel regulator malfunction by apeacefulstorm on 2010/4/30 1:46:35 Update.... the mechanic said the fuel regulator dumped fuel into the engine which mixed with the oil and even got into the exhaust system.... He was able to drain it, dry out the fuel (especially in the exhaust pipes), refill with oil and started it up after letting it sit for a day or so.... He said there was no engine damage and that I was lucky.... so that's the long and short of it.... I sold him the car, used the money for the downpayment on a 2010 Camaro 2SS 6 speed... its been great getting to know you guys.... take care... |
