I know a couple of cars that are making more power with the same set up. Don't get me wrong, it's a restriction - as any plumbing infront of the TB is going be after a certain distance but plenty of folks are still running the stock stuff and making more power so I'd look else where. I also don't think you have to have a 58mm TB at this point. However TB's are pretty cheap and really easy to change. If you want to try a 58mm TB, PM me and I'll loan you one I have sitting around.
