I don't know that much about it. When you go to a 383 in the future it will effectively lower the peak power rpms some, as more cubes eat up more cam. If I were in your shoes, I'd be very happy with the results. Shifting at 6200 isn't going to hurt your power/drag times as much as you think. I would drop down to 1.5 rockers to effectively lessen the cam a little, and go enjoy it! |
