It pops off the fork

But you need to be REAL CAREFUL about it.

The fork is easy to bend.

If your removing the bellhousing all together

It best to leave it attached the the ball and screw the ball in towards the engine till it disconnects from the bellhousing. You can then remove the bellhousing then the fork.

to put it back together, screw the ball back onto the housing, put the fork on the in retracted position, and slide it back over once the bellhousing is installed.

worked 3 times so far.

BTW if you take it apart, check the rear main seal, great time to replace it.
