I haven't heard anything negative about the Redline MTF and I recall reading they list it as a substitute for the GM fill. (Although technically the current GM fill superceded the original fill that was spec'd for these.)

I use Pennzoil synchromesh in mine. Way cheaper and easier to get than GM synchromesh and from what I researched it's exactly the same fluid. Synchromesh isn't very thick though, so it's not quiet in mine, but I don't have a dual mass flywheel.

Some use the Castrol TWS 10w60, it's much thicker/quieter than synchromesh, but the viscocity breaks down quickly anyways, and I question it's compatibility with the synchros.
